The OLT Design team, led by founder and chief architect Ms. Tetiana Oliinyk, attended and held working meetings at the 33rd most prestigious yacht show in the world, the Monaco Yacht Show 2024 (MYS), which took place from September 25 to 28 of this year.
In Monaco, at the Port Hercules harbor, 180 vessels were showcased, including 120 stunning superyachts that had never before gathered in one place. We had the opportunity to study the 123-meter-long, largest yacht at the show, GOLDEN ODYSSEY, and the renowned 122-meter yacht KISMET, which had just come from the LÜRSSEN shipyard in Germany.
A total of 560 exhibitors presented an extraordinary array of innovations, advanced technologies, and marine innovations, many of which we engaged with and established contacts for future collaboration.
During negotiations with DINAMIQ, whose headquarters have been in Monaco for 15 years and have a client base from around the world, we agreed on cooperation in the field of interior design for yachts over 40 meters and were invited to visit their shipyard in Turkey.
After visiting the 80-meter superyacht AMARYLLIS and speaking directly with its captain, we were convinced of the extraordinary creative sophistication and functionality of the creators from the Abeking & Rasmussen shipyard.
Successful negotiations took place at the LÜRSSEN shipyard stand, where we presented our previous designs works. The chief designer of this renowned manufacturer of the most exquisite superyachts from Germany noted the exceptional professionalism of our work and invited us to visit them in November of this year.
OLT DESIGN was also invited to visit and continue negotiations about possible collaboration with the Royal Huisman shipyard from the Netherlands, which showcased the most modern and largest fishing yacht, Special One, in Monaco, and the Royal Hakvoort shipyard, which has over 100 years of tradition in this field, after discussions with the young owner-shipbuilder Abel.
We successfully communicated with other representatives of shipyards from the Netherlands, such as Damen, with whom we are already collaborating, and Hessen, with whom collaboration is planned following our meeting in Monaco.
The Monaco Yacht Show 2024 exceeded our expectations, defining the pinnacle of excellence in the world of superyachts and providing further inspiration and guidelines for our future work.
