Residential Interior Design in the US and Europe
Villa Sunrise is a project that the OLT DESIGN team created in Dubai at the request of a successful businessman. The client wanted to create a home where one could enjoy solitude and relax from work, and also host parties with friends.
We designed the villa to include a comfortable living area for the owner and two separate meeting zones – one for daytime on the ground floor and another for nighttime in the basement.
Maintaining the concept of a home for an extrovert who doesn’t mind turning his home into a club occasionally, we aimed to embody aesthetics and the luxury typical of Dubai in the interior. To bring this idea to life, the OLT DESIGN team used rough natural textures of wood and stone combined with delicate decor elements of glass and metal.
Villa’s Lobby
The villa’s lobby is separated from the living room by a partition featuring rough marble and a bio fireplace.
The room feels spacious yet cozy, with a lightweight chandelier, a sculptural glass piece, and a stylish staircase.
The white marble seems weightless and does not overload the interior. The central seating area in the lobby includes a Vladimir Kagan sofa, an armchair, Benson coffee table by Minotti, and an ottoman.
Chic Living Room
The center of attention and the soul of the living room is an art panel on the wall, resembling liquid metal. Its waves reflect and amplify the light from a voluminous crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling.
The room is adorned with warm and textured materials in a beige color scheme, contrasting with the metallic shine of the panel, crystals and the golden coffee table by Jonathan Adler. These materials include plush suede, natural wood, a soft carpet, and sleek leather.
Additional warmth comes from terracotta chairs and cushions on the Minotti sofa, while the bio fireplace’s flames add a cozy touch to the living space.
Textured Kitchen
The Arclinea kitchen is designed in dark wood and stone shades. The illuminated transparent showcase of the island and a dedicated cabinet for exquisite tableware add a warm and festive touch against the deep colors. All kitchen furniture follows a modern style, characterized by clean geometric shapes and sharp angles. The work surface, crafted from greenish marble, seamlessly merges into a table with Henge chairs around it, – a perfect zone for quick morning snacks.
Adjacent to the kitchen and near the basement stairs, there’s a cozy relaxation area with a white sofa and a minimalist coffee table.
Bright Dining Room
The dining area is bathed in natural light, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Dominating the space is a round table that seamlessly blends smooth textured stone with tactile wood, complemented by chairs crafted from a mix of dark wood and leather. An eye-catching art Supernova Chandelier by Boca do Lobo above the table, reminiscent of a star, adds a touch of elegance. Set against a backdrop of nubuck and stone composition, you’ll find a wine cabinet with subtle backlighting, a television, and an onyx cabinet.
Sleek Bathroom
The bathroom design is both functional and elegant. Marble in two contrasting colors – dark gray with veins for accentuation and light gray as the backdrop – adorns the walls and floor.
One wall of the bathroom features panoramic windows overlooking the garden, filling the space with natural light during the day.
Basement Lounge
The basement combines an entertainment hub with a garage that feels more like a museum housing cherished collectible cars.
As you step out of the garage, you’re greeted by the allure of the ‘red carpet’ corridor, adorned with stylish lighting and paparazzi-inspired silhouettes.
