Residential Interior Design in the US and Europe
The OLT DESIGN team, having crafted the design concept for the Sunrise villa, subsequently received an order from the same client for a guest villa. The client wanted to create a space that he could rent out or offer to his guests who often come for an extended period from abroad. The villa’s interior was intended to immerse guests in the ambiance of Dubai’s opulence and comfort.
For this project the OLT DESIGN team focused on a mix of different styles, primarily modern luxury, added color accents of deep shades, and incorporated details that interpret nature. Unexpected texture combinations make the interior unique and recognizable.
Emerald Hall
The core of the interior here is a contrast of dark matte textures, glossy marble, and carefully thought-out lighting.
A modern sofa and an ottoman are placed in the center of this space. Their biomorphic shape and velvety texture in rich green shades evoke imagery of coniferous forests covered in moss, offering a refreshing contrast to the relentless Dubai sun. Adjacent to the sofa are circular tables, their mirrored metal surfaces amplifying light and evoking the allure of hidden forest treasures. A chandelier adorned with green crystals, descending from the first floor, casts a soft glow on the walls and stairs, transforming them into intricate patterns.
Adding to the warm ambiance is an onyx wall that separates the hall from the living room.
Amber Living Room
The flickering flames of the bio-fireplace, soft warm lighting on the shelves, amber-colored designer chairs, and burgundy pillows create an incredibly cozy atmosphere in the living room. The Minotti sofa, with its matte textile finish, serves as a central focal point, contrasting elegantly with the mirrored surface and metallic coffee table. The geometric pattern of the bench stands out against the dark veneer backdrop, adding a touch of uniqueness. The light rug with an abstract pattern brings together furniture of completely different colors and textures into a unified composition. A photograph of an antique sculpture set against the modern interior, and harmoniously complements the myriad of small decor elements on the shelves.
Light Kitchen
The kitchen, adorned with oak veneer, is light and airy. Its impeccable clear lines, lustrous brass accents, and elegantly imperfect form of glass lighting fixtures imbue it with a contemporary and stylish appeal.
The kitchen island integrates a cooking zone that seamlessly transitions into a sleek bar counter, surrounded by minimalist chairs. Behind the island, a spacious display cabinet houses dishware, alongside built-in appliances such as a refrigerator and oven.
Dining Room with Garnet Accents
The dining area exudes elegance and sophistication. It is flooded with natural light pouring in through expansive panoramic windows. Taking center stage is a stone table surrounded by minimalist modern chairs upholstered in luxurious garnet-colored leather. A standout feature of the space is the voluminous yet airy chandelier above the table, harmonizing beautifully with the chairs’ color palette.
Pearlescent Bedroom
The bedroom seamlessly blends two distinct zones: a tranquil sleeping area and a lounge. Soft, matte hues mingle with touches of metallic sheen, creating a subtle pearlescent effect on the walls, ceiling, and fabrics.
In the sleeping zone, there is a grand double bed with a headboard adorned in intricate panels of marble and stucco.
While visually connected by a wall-length library, the sleeping zone and lounge maintain their individuality thanks to a cleverly designed partition.
At the center of the lounge, a circular sofa and shell-like chairs are placed around a chic coffee table, while an artful arrangement of asymmetrical designer lamps suspended from the ceiling adds a touch of avant-garde flair. The wall panels behind the sofa, adorned with droplets reminiscent of liquid metal, enhance the room’s artistic ambiance.
Marble Bathroom
The marble bathroom exudes an elegant aesthetic crafted from a blend of diverse marble hues, the raw natural stone of the lighting fixtures, and intricate metal accents. Positioned before a panoramic window with a breathtaking bay view, a contemporary white bathtub serves as the focal point. Adjacent to it, a comfortable chair placed near the mirror and complemented by natural lighting provides an ideal setting for beauty routines.
Water Aesthetics of the Basement
The basement of the villa is meticulously crafted to harmonize both a garage and leisure zones seamlessly. Embracing a water-themed ambiance, the interior showcases an open space adorned with sofas and ottomans, bathed in the glow of neon chandeliers reminiscent of jellyfish. Beneath these luminous fixtures sits an amorphous glass and metal table, evoking the imagery of an iceberg.
Across from this area lies a captivating bar, where the ambience is enriched by an array of light sources: a transparent wall doubling as a poolside barrier, an onyx wall, and a chandelier whose every petal reflects light, creating a captivating disco-ball effect. The textured ceiling, reminiscent of liquid mercury, further enhances the aquatic motif.
