Villa Sunset is strategically positioned on the artificial island of Palm Jumeirah, nestled along the shores of the Persian Gulf. As envisioned by the owner, fatigued by the bright Dubai sun, it was meant to become a contemporary sanctuary from the intense light and a place of relaxation. The interior design, curated by OLT DESIGN studio, seamlessly integrates elements of luxury modern and classical aesthetics, resulting in a distinctive and captivating character.
Natural materials such as wood, stone, textiles, natural leather, and metal grace the entire space, creating a harmonious blend of textures. Ornate details, sculptures, brass embellishments, and ambient lighting highlight different zones, enhancing the overall ambiance.

The Captivating Living Room
The living room is a captivating blend of contrast and vibrancy, featuring wooden panels, contemporary Minotti furniture, veneer on the ceiling, an ethanol fireplace, and bookshelves. Each element serves as a dynamic accent within its respective zone. Notably, an antique sculpture resembling a male torso stands as a key decorative element, contributing to the luxurious modern style of the room. Despite ample natural light from large panoramic windows, the judicious use of dark tones ensures the living room remains a retreat from the sun.
Designing a Kitchen for Every Scenario
The kitchen, meticulously designed for diverse scenarios, is divided into stylish and functional zones. The central area boasts a vibrant island with lighting, kitchen utensil cabinets, display cases for cherished dishes, and a bar with stools. This space allows hosts to turn cooking into a guest-worthy show or simply enjoy morning family gatherings. Adjacent to the island is a spacious dining area, perfect for evening soirees with guests, offering picturesque views through large panoramic windows. Noteworthy details include a comfortable sofa opposite the island and stairs leading to the basement.
The Nightlife Oasis in the Basement
To maintain privacy and enhance comfort for both homeowners and neighbors, the zone designed for evening leisure is strategically located in the basement. Following the transition from the first-floor living room and dining area, the basement seamlessly transforms into a genuine club setting. The primary objective of this space is to make a lasting impression on guests. This extensive area is thoughtfully divided into distinct functional zones.
Within the room, designated spaces cater to various activities, including relaxation, dancing, a home theater, a well-appointed bar counter, a gaming zone, a stylish billiard area, and even an integrated garage.
Adding a touch of uniqueness to the interior is a sizable window connecting the room to the outdoor pool. This innovative design fills the entire room with soft, diffused light.
Upscale Bathrooms for Discerning Guests
For guests, two bathrooms with distinct luxury modern designs are provided – a darker one in the basement and a brighter counterpart on the first floor. Resembling those found in upscale hotels, these spaces combine clean marble, natural wood, and gold-colored metal to ensure a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing experience for both homeowners and guests.
