At the request of our clients, the designers at OLT DESIGN have created an entire universe within the grounds of a villa in Dubai. We masterfully blended ultramodern aesthetics with timeless classics, seamlessly integrating the interior with the surrounding natural landscape.

The three-story villa features spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a grand living room, a kitchen and dining area, and a comfortable barbecue space that connects the first-floor interior with the private outdoor zone. To enhance the living experience, we incorporated multiple relaxation areas, a custom-designed spa complex, a fully equipped gym, a walk-in wardrobe tailored to the owners’ needs, an entertainment basement, and a lush greenhouse.

The villa’s design reflects the owners’ lifestyle and anticipates various living scenarios. It meets the family’s current desires and needs while allowing for future adaptations, ensuring that the home remains a source of comfort and satisfaction for years to come.

Ground Floor Hall

From the very first steps, the grand entrance zone captivates with its sense of space. On one side, a lush green garden is reflected in mirrored surfaces. On the other, floor-to-ceiling glass walls reveal a breathtaking view of the bay. The focal point and centerpiece of the composition is a luxurious emerald-green crystal chandelier. Its classic elegance creates a striking contrast with the modernity of the mirrored columns, whose fluid lines are inspired by the works of the renowned architect Frank Gehry. His innovative approach to deconstructivism continues to astonish with unexpected forms.

To avoid the predictability of a conventional white ceiling in such a vast villa, the architects at OLT DESIGN crafted a unique visual narrative. They created an intricate mix of contemporary wooden slats, reflective surfaces, and, at the heart of the living room, a decorative feature in the French style adorned with refined classical stucco.

Just before entering the house, elegant console tables provide a functional space for personal belongings. This practical zone transforms into an artful composition with sculptural curved lines, ambient lighting, and exquisite Macassar veneer, adding a sophisticated touch to the entrance experience.

Living Room

At the heart of the living room is a spacious lounge area, thoughtfully arranged with a composition of armchairs, sofas, and coffee tables. A rich mix of materials — cozy textiles, refined polished marble, raw stone, and vibrant metal — is harmonized through a shared rounded form, echoed in the furniture, columns, and atrium architecture of the space.

At the very center of the room, a circular coffee table with a built-in bio fireplace becomes a striking focal point. The flickering flames reflect off mirrored surfaces, adding movement and depth to the ambiance. One wall is entirely dedicated to bookshelves and decorative elements, with soft, warm lighting enhancing the coziness and contrasting with the rugged stone of the adjacent rock-inspired feature wall.

To further elevate the interior, we incorporated glossy metal accents that reflect light, visually lifting the ceiling. The contrast is heightened by a sophisticated blend of classical details, statues, and a contemporary painting by a Ukrainian artist, seamlessly uniting tradition and modernity.

Kitchen

From the very first steps, the eye is drawn to the striking focal composition — an island with a backlit onyx wall designed to showcase elegant tableware and decor. The island is both functional and versatile, divided into two zones: one for cooking and another for intimate family breakfasts.

Amidst the soft, muted natural tones of the space, a vibrant accent emerges in the form of chairs upholstered in decorative fabric adorned with whimsical birds. Their deep-colored natural leather backs add a sense of depth and sophistication. To meet the client’s vision, we incorporated glass shelves with subtle lighting above the island, creating a refined display for art and decorative pieces.

Classic French herringbone parquet and coffered ceilings enhance the dialogue between contemporary furnishings and the statement chandelier. The intricate veneer inlays between the windows seamlessly echo the natural landscape outside, reinforcing the kitchen’s harmonious connection with its surroundings.

Dining Area & Barbecue Zone

The designers at OLT DESIGN took the local climate into account, creating a barbecue area that adapts to different relaxation scenarios. This space is seamlessly connected to the terrace, allowing the family to enjoy fresh air. However, when needed, a glass partition transforms it into a fully enclosed, air-conditioned room, providing a cool retreat on hot days.

To enhance the connection with nature, we infused the dining area with greenery. Ceiling-mounted trays overflow with cascading live plants, creating an emerald waterfall effect. Custom-made furniture adds exclusivity to the space, while a concealed functional kitchen hides behind decorative facades, ensuring both practicality and aesthetics remain in perfect balance.

Wine Room

Driven by a passion for drawing inspiration from different corners of the world, our architects recreated the ambiance of an Italian wine cellar. The design evokes the feel of an ancient stone grotto, featuring an arched display with a digital screen showcasing a serene winter landscape — a rare and refreshing contrast to Dubai’s climate.

A bespoke suspended wine rack, crafted from natural leather and adorned with the logos of renowned Italian vineyards, serves as both a functional and decorative element. The room also includes a dedicated champagne refrigerator, a custom-designed table, and a unique cork collection. Embedded into the parquet flooring, illuminated display cases allow for continuous expansion of this evolving collection, turning each bottle’s memory into a part of the space’s story.

First-Floor Hall

The space is designed as an atrium, with a magnificent crystal chandelier cascading through multiple levels. In this hall, all residents of the villa naturally cross paths, as it provides access to the private living quarters, so we created a comfortable lounge area with a sofa, armchairs, and coffee tables to make it an inviting space for relaxation and conversation.

Master Bedroom

A spacious room filled with light and air. Through hidden doors, the owners can access their walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathrooms. The space is divided into several stylish and functional zones: a sleeping area featuring a sleek, modern Minotti bed, a library corner designed for peaceful solitude, and a fireplace zone positioned at the center of the room on a structural column.

The unique shape of the sofa echoes the fluid lines of the lighting fixtures, sculpture, and the rounded silhouettes of the columns. The shelving is separated by a partition made of mountain crystal, adding depth and visual intrigue to the background. The ceiling is a sophisticated blend of contemporary wooden slats and delicate French-style stucco, creating an elegant contrast of textures.

Walk-in Wardrobe

When designing the wardrobe, we focused on the needs of our clients, dividing the space into several spacious zones for maximum convenience. To the right, there is a refined makeup area with a vanity table and a window. This elegant, feminine retreat is perfect for trying on jewelry, applying makeup, or enjoying time with friends.

The layout also includes a dedicated section for shoes, handbags, and belts, a clothing area for everyday wear and evening gowns, and a display stand for perfumes. The entire space exudes luxury and sophistication, inspired by the boutiques and dressing rooms of renowned brands such as Chanel and Louis Vuitton. To enhance this ambiance, we incorporated black marble accents and a rich, complex shade of ochre. Every piece of furniture was custom-designed and crafted to meet the specific needs of the villa’s owners.

Lady’s Bathroom

A stunning custom-designed bathtub with a Calacatta marble base and glass side panels appears almost weightless against the backdrop of a panoramic window. The vanity area is also adorned with Calacatta marble, complemented by waterproof textured leather in a deep, accent color.

Built-in furniture and sleek facades keep the space uncluttered, creating a bright, airy atmosphere that feels more like a luxurious spa. Unique art pieces add a bold character to the otherwise refined and understated interior.

Gentleman’s Bathroom

This space embodies a distinctly masculine character and style. To achieve this, we incorporated an abundance of stone and selected a bold yet comfortable bathtub.

To maintain the villa’s signature sense of luxury, we balanced the natural light tones with deep, rich colors, subtly woven into the furniture, shelf finishes, and an expressive sculptural centerpiece.

Girl’s Bedroom

Although the girl was still an infant at the time of the design project, we always look ahead, anticipating how our clients’ needs will evolve over five, ten, or even fifteen years. With this in mind, we designed a bedroom for the future.

The custom-made bed features a unique headboard composed of individual elements, seamlessly blending with the room’s purple color scheme and complementing the delicate shade of the ceiling cornice. The space is adorned with a butterfly panel and eucalyptus veneer with intricate inlays. The flooring showcases French herringbone parquet laid in an unconventional pattern. While all belongings are currently stored in two wardrobes, we have planned for the possibility of transforming the space into a walk-in closet as the girl grows.

Playroom

Over time, this room will be converted into a stylish walk-in wardrobe. For now, it serves as a multifunctional space where the child learns, engages in educational games, spends time with her nanny and tutor, and explores her creativity.

The walls are adorned with decorative circular shelves, perfect for displaying gifts and toys. A round recess in the wall creates a cozy play nook, a private “house” for relaxation and imagination. A chair by the window invites quiet reading, while the climbing wall encourages physical activity. Every detail in this playroom is thoughtfully designed to support the child’s growth and development.

Girl’s Bathroom

A bright yet elegantly refined space, the bathroom features an ornate ceiling rosette with delicate stucco detailing, from which two sections of a contemporary light fixture gracefully descend.

Colorful accents bring character to the interior — pearlescent mosaic tiles add a captivating shimmer in the shower, while patterned wallpaper, specially treated for humid environments, enhances the aesthetic. A distinctive element of the design is the creative use of curved forms. Every piece of furniture is custom-made, tailored to both the style and practical needs of the owners.

SPA

The villa’s spa area serves as both a sanctuary for self-care and a journey to a resort-like retreat. We divided it into several rooms to cater to all our clients’ desires. The designers created a relaxation zone where every detail is inspired by nature, allowing guests to unwind and clear their minds. At the center is a large aquarium filled with jellyfish, while the room’s perimeter is adorned with natural stone. Coffee tables made from tree trunks and various plants enhance the space. A stylish touch is the deep blue coffered ceiling.

A separate massage room features a display stand for cosmetics, a wall of Himalayan salt for relaxation and health benefits, and a dedicated area for treatments. One wall is decorated with bamboo, evoking the ambiance of a luxurious Maldivian retreat. At the center of the sauna is a comfortable rotating lounger, allowing guests to choose their preferred view and enjoy the sunset. Another area is the hay room, equipped with heated loungers to intensify the aroma of dried fragrant herbs. Opposite the window is a relaxation spot overlooking the bay. The final stop on this “journey” is the snow room, complete with real snow, a decorative wall, and a screen.

Gym

The villa’s gym features a reinforced wall for securely mounting training equipment and two full-length glass walls, adjacent to which we’ve positioned the cardio area. The gym also includes a dedicated yoga space, storage cabinets, a bar, and a large mirror for monitoring exercise technique. The ceiling design is particularly intricate and innovative: part of it is made of glass, while another section can open up, allowing for open-air workouts.

Conservatory

This is a true indoor garden with a retractable ceiling, enabling stargazing at night. We’ve created a special microclimate and, during the design phase, incorporated structural features that allow plants to be planted directly in the conservatory. Additional plants have been ordered and placed in pots. To evoke an antique ambiance, we’ve installed classical sculptures of Atlantes, stone elements, and art pieces around the perimeter. Amidst the lush greenery, there’s a bar counter and a social area — various relaxation formats are thoughtfully integrated into the garden.

Entertainment Basement

When the day ends, the night continues until dawn. The expansive area of this basement has allowed us to include a cinema hall, bar, large illuminated aquarium, car display, gaming zone, and a stage. In the basement, anything is possible: hosting movie screenings, playing billiards, socializing, or organizing concerts. The stage has been individually designed and custom-made for this space.
