OLT DESIGN was invited to undertake a renovation and interior decoration project for both a Master Duplex Apartment and a Guest Apartment located within the Alhambra Los Granados residential complex in the picturesque Spanish resort town of Marbella.
The clients’ primary goal was to fully immerse themselves in the local surroundings, creating an ideal space for spending quality vacation time with family and friends.
Here we showcase how OLT DESIGN team revitalized the Master Duplex Apartment amidst the substantial challenge posed by its demanding timeline, starting in early July and concluding by mid-August.
The Master Duplex Apartment spans 500 sq. m., boasting three bedrooms with private terraces, en-suite bathrooms, and walk-in closets on the ground floor. On the first floor, there is an additional bedroom with its bathroom and walk-in closet, along with a cozy recreation room, kitchen, and a generously-sized living and dining area that opens up to the main terrace. Here one will find a smartly designed mini-kitchen featuring a barbecue, a spacious dining table, comfortable sofas with chairs, and sun loungers.
Living Room
The interior was thoughtfully designed with Mediterranean style as its central theme. Natural hues dominate the finishes, furniture, and textiles, while coral and marine accents make the interior more vibrant.
The spacious living room, designed to serve multiple functions, is divided into three distinct areas. A sitting area in the middle is surrounded by a dining area on one side and an imitation of a home office on the other.
Terrace
The living room opens up to the main terrace with a picturesque view on the complex. Earthy tones of the exterior seamlessly blend with abundant greenery.
Bedroom on the First Floor
Blend of natural hues and coral accents make the central theme of the bedroom on the first floor. Large windows offer abundance of natural light, while meticulously handpicked lighting fixtures offer a cozy light in the evening. While most of the elements bare the antique spirit, all the beds were custom made as a special request form the client.
Corridor
The marble timeless staircase which we preserved sets the scene for the decorations found in the local antique shop. All these items add to the Mediterranean atmosphere of the place
Master Bedroom
Luxurious & spacious master bedroom on the second and the last floor is dominated by marine theme. Wooden rafters, that form the framework of the roof structure, are left visible on purpose, providing both support and an aesthetic element to the interior space.
Kids Room
Decorating the kid’s room our team kept in mind, that children grow quickly, what they like changes each year. Therefore we made he interior timeless, a decoration for any likes they might have this season.
Bathroom
We’re ending our tour with one of the bathrooms. Stocked with best bath and comfort essentials the apartment was absolutely ready to host the new owners and their guests.
