One of the most striking and significant projects by OLT DESIGN is the private mansion located in the center of Kyiv, at Zemlyanska Street. This house is a vivid example of a synthesis of pseudo-baroque and classicism, brought to life in a modern interpretation. The project was carried out under the leadership of OLT DESIGN’s founder and chief architect, Tatyana Oliinyk.

Architecture and Façade

The mansion, with a total area of approximately 6,000 square meters, consists of four above-ground floors and two underground levels. During the design of the façade, special attention was paid to the use of natural materials. The lower ground floor is clad in massive dark gray granite, reminiscent of the architectural elements of Khreshchatyk. The façades of the upper floors are decorated with light travertine, which serves as a backdrop for elements made from beige cream marble.

The mansion’s roof is covered in copper, featuring a decorative pattern known as “scales”. The windows on the upper floors are baroque in style, with oval and arched frames, complemented by gilded elements.

Decorative Features

The main decorative element of the mansion is the sculptures of angels, placed on either side of large oval windows in the dome section of the building. These baroque sculptures add a sense of monumentality and elegance to the structure. Every element of the façade is designed with meticulous attention to detail: the columns are crafted in the Corinthian order, highlighting the classical nature of the building, while the massive cornices are supported by decorative brackets.

Surroundings and Unique Location

The mansion on Zemlyanska is located in Kyiv’s prestigious Pechersk district. Adjacent to the house is a botanical garden, which creates a unique atmosphere of seclusion and natural harmony in the heart of the city. The greenery and landscape surrounding the building emphasize the status and elegance of this architectural masterpiece.

This project became a significant milestone in the history of OLT DESIGN, demonstrating the high professionalism of the team led by Tatyana Oliinyk. Every element of the mansion was developed with attention to detail, making it one of the most luxurious private homes in Kyiv today.
